I Have Been conscripted. Hi! I’m Dave, D T Mann’s significant other. I was informed today that I’ll be putting together a weekly newsletter, under the supervision of D T of course. She says I may not be a Dom but I do have bossy side and apparently that’s all the qualifications I need.
I may do most of the blogging or newslettering. Call me Dave unless someone can come up with a great name for me to use, hopefully one I don’t have to have censored.
If we can develop an email list, I’ll mail copies to all the addresses we collect, but it will be here to read every week.
In return, we hope that you’ll tell your friends and fellow readers about us and tell us what subjects you’d like us to discuss.
Okay so here goes. Volume one number one.
Ace of Trumps:
Well the new US president is certainly making news. The ban on people from seven countries has caused more than a minor stir. My husband and I were glued to CNN all day.
Trump says it’s not racism – it’s an anti-terrorist move but the people who are law abiding immigrants are convinced it’s pure out and out discrimination. Whatever your opinion of the executive order from the new president, there sure is a lot of discussion and lots more to come. The world is really a troubled place and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Facebook, twitter an various other social media have not seen this much action in quite a while.
I don’t know about you but the SAG awards were a bit of a mixture of “what a shock” and “I expected that”. They are supposed to be a good predictor of the Oscars. We’ll see. For those of you who missed it, here’s the winners’ list:
